Small Groups, Bible Studies and Christian Education

As we endeavor to personally connect you with Jesus Christ and His mission, our community and each other; vitally important to this vision is discipleship and education. We have several formats of study which move us towards growth and discipleship

Newcomers class

This class is for those who desire make St. Luke and St. Peter’s their home and offers a brief overview of our denomination, our beliefs, our worship, our ministries and our fellowship. (This class spans four one hour sessions and is offered twice a year.)

Confirmation class

This class is a deeper look at our Anglican heritage, history, worship and practice. This class is for anyone who would like to both make St. Luke & St. Peter’s their church home and would also like to be a member of the wider Episcopal Denomination of Christianity. Confirmation is required for anyone wanting to serve on Church leadership boards and serve as a worship leader. (This class meets over two three hour sessions culminating in the sacrament of confirmation; which is the adult confirmation of our Christian faith and official recognition of membership in the Episcopal church)

Large group classes

Both large group classes and small group bible studies are intended to be opportunities to grow in faith through biblical studies, church history, theology, Christian faith, contemporary culture and our every day lives. These classes can be a one time class or span several weeks. They may be offered on a Sunday morning or throughout the week. Always be on the look out for what we are doing next!

Small Group Bible study

Just like our large group classes, bible studies can focus on a variety of areas biblical studies, church history, theology, Christian faith, contemporary culture and our every day lives. However Bible studies offer Christian growth in an intimate setting in which fellow Christians can also pray for one another, support each other, share in study and discipleship with one another.
